Tonight.
Is the night.
I finally can see Mizobata Junpei in person!
/squeals forever

Bought 3rd row tickets just so that I can see him up close.
After buying it, I realized that rows H onwards have subtitles.
So, good luck to Mich and I as we try to understand what they're saying to each other.
Oh the bright side, 2 HOURS OF JUNPEI UP CLOSE.
I CAN DIE HAPPY.

I've been so preoccupied with subbing dramas and painting nails that I've absolutely lost interest in fandom.
Whatever I see on my Twitter timeline just seems so foreign to me.

But anyway, I shall post up my works!

Tadah!Collapse )

Seriously.
It only takes one person to ruin everything.

Since a week ago, this particular person has been asking me brainless questions. Every single day.
He PM-ed me and left comments on why he couldn't see the download links. Read the rules, jeez.
Then he asked me weird questions about my country.
And asked if there is some kind of fixed day when we will release our subs.

Obviously, I'll get freaking irritated. You do this everyday. There is a limit to my patience.
I can choose to ignore those messages, but I didn't.
My last reply was "We do not have a fixed schedule on when we will release the episodes. This is only a hobby."
And this ignorant person just rebuts and says my replies are angry and cruel. He will never step into this site again. Everyone from the West are the same and tells me to have a good life.

Well, fuck you.
Do you expect me to reply all your messages with smileys and emoticons?
You yourself kept saying ."If it's a bother, you don't have to reply. Sorry for bothering you." You bloody hell knew how annoying you were and I actually took the time to reply you.
I get at least 100 messages/comments a day. You should be grateful that I'm even wasting a few minutes replying to those questions of yours.
Yet, I get accused of being what, angry and cruel? CRUEL?
Besides, my country is not in the West. >_>

I feel like banning you from the community. But that's being unprofessional, so I won't.
You said you will never step into this site again right? Well, please go and leave the community on your own free will. どうぞ。
Have a good life yourself.

Hello amsthedamned, you've enabled privacy so I can't PM you back.
I hope you see this.

Anyway, I'm using the font Nueva Std. The subs come out fine for me on my VLC player; I'm using a Macbook too.
If you still can't fix it, I guess you can download the hardsubs?

Nicole's not renewing her contract with DSP.
I won the ballot for ZE:A's fansign (Lizzie is helping me to get it signed).

My fandom life is so screwed. I can't even..... >_>

I keep trying to learn new things at this age.
I wonder why didn't I think of doing such things when I was younger.
I must be a really bored adult.

But anyway, I've decided to get my ass down to learning how to do proper manicure. Gel manicure to be exact.
I went down to the shop at Pink Room Academy to actually get a top coat and a UV lamp because my nails are kinda dying and the lady introduced me to this one day workshop where we will learn how to do gel manicure; along with some nail art.
She said it's better to go for this workshop rather than go for a 6 month course since I don't intend to go professional.
So now I'm like $480 poorer. I hope I didn't make the wrong choice. :/

Recently decided to stop procrastinating and start volunteering at a nursing home near my house.
Took me a lot of uh courage(?) to go down and sign up as a volunteer with them.
Started my first day last week.
Helped out with ACS Barker Boys Brigade with a bingo session.
Whenever they get bingo, we let them choose some snack. Their expression on their faces are priceless.
There are some uncles who keep shouting bingo for nothing just because they wanted the snack. XD

Today was my second day!
No activities this time round so I made a round around the Faith ward to befriend the aunties.
It was hard talking to some of them since they speak dialect but I tried. XD
Thankful for those aunties who can speak Chinese.
They told me a hell lot of stories, of which I couldn't catch after a while because my Chinese sucks too. #fail

I fed this nearly 100 years old aunty milo and ended up with scratches because she pinches me every time I feed her. Lmao.
It's her habit apparently. And she has dementia.
Don't think she understood a word I said but she kept staring at me. ;A;
Fed another aunty porridge. I think I'm getting the hang of it.
My mom said I can feed my grandma next time hahaha.

Told everyone that I'll be heading down every Saturday and they're looking forward to seeing me!
I can't do much for them but I can give them each at least 3 minutes of my time.
Shall drag my mom down one day. :3

Heads up y'all!
I'VE FINISHED SUBBING KYUUMEI BYOTO 24-JI SEASON 5!
After 6 weeks, I'm done with the 10 episode drama! :D
I've grown pretty attached to the medical team since I did spend the last month with them. Haha.
Wanted to drop the project so many times but I've always hated it when subbers do that so I didn't.
It really wasn't easy. Like seriously.
I kept asking myself, "Why do I torture myself like this?" whenever I was stuck at translating some line. LOL.

It's over now.
And if any of my friends are interested, here you go: http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic_138559.htm

And!
A friend of mine and I have crazily decided to start a fansub group. Hohoho.
Of course, I won't be the one translating. I'll be doing everything else but translating. 8D
Head on down to our community at whathesub if you're interested. XD
